I've never heard of penny arcade, but I give you style points for being creative in getting a link to their site listed here (and getting them some traffic).
Re-labeling buttons (on anything) is a standard tool used by many cartoonists.

Reading my previous comment it may have sounded like I was trying to say something about the site penny-arcade.com. I wasn't trying to imply that I would do anything for Penny Arcade's site traffic. I don't know what their site traffic is on a daily basis, but I'm sure mine is just a blip in comparison.

All the different versions of health care bills are available online in PDF with that 7.5 hour long televised debate, I don't know how much more transparency these folks can ask for.
So far he have been pushing for everything I voted him for, it's now up to the Republicans to make their move.
Also, how many people here actually paid higher tax this year? This year's tax is the lowest of the past decade. On top of that, this year's ear marks is 15% lower than last year.
So whoever drew this nows less of politics than gaming.
Transparency?
yea there was plenty of transparency, that's why every day there are new revelations about what is actually in Obamacare. Obama even made grumbling lies about vetoing the already signed law yesterday after the costs of it were found to be significantly higher than the CBOs and the Dems lies stated.
Lowest taxes in a decade? Yea right, now pull the other one. Did you notice that withholding was raised so that the government can "borrow" more of our money till April when they have to repay a pittance of it?

The health care bill wasn't posted until the last possible moment. Nobody had a chance to review it before it was passed. Obama didn't wait the 5 days he claimed he would wait on non-emergency bills. Now we're finding all kinds of garbage in it (own a business and pay somebody more than $600? you have to issue them a 1099 now; what does THAT have to do with health care?), and the stupid thing was passed two months ago.
The 7.5 hour "televised debate" was more like a 7.5 hour lecture by Obama to the Republicans (who spoke for a total of about 2 hours combined, compared with 3 hours for Barry on his own--and let's not forget about his little slap at John McCain during that).
Earmarks are lower because all but 3 Republicans have taken a "No Earmark" pledge, not because of Barry and the Dems.
And I actually paid more taxes in 2009 and I earned less money, with the same identical of deductions.

I don't get the comic. In the first panel Obama has pressed a button or multiple buttons four times. Does this imply the author thinks Obama is perhaps very honest or ethical, but has problems in other areas of governing?

Gamers and the Left
No, you don't want the government messing with the gaming industry. But the way it looks now, Big Brother is coming. Even if Obama says he doesn't know how these things work, he has people who do and they are running the show.
The problem
The problem is a two party system in which corporate shills do what their handlers pay them to do. No matter which side you claim allegiance to, you are buying in to a broken corrupt system. Our government looks more like that of Italian corporatism, than of the representative democracy spelled out in our constitution.
A major problem: The "constitution" has become a document vague enough that if you disagree with someone, you can spin it to suit your argument. For example, Who cares that it guarantees the right to life? If you look at the "constitutionally guided" politicians in my home state, you will quickly see that the right to life that they claim to fight for is reserved for fetuses and the elderly. Their policies and spending choices demonstrate as much.
- I am not truly represented by a single individual at any level of government, any who say they are to be mistrusted.
