I believe that I've finally figured out what it will take to make the liberal proponents of Government Healthcare see things from the conservative side of the argument.

Before I show you my idea though, we need to get one thing straight... conservatives are not opposed to fixing the issues that need to be fixed (i.e. helping those that truly need the help with healthcare). What conservatives are opposed to is the eventual single payer, GOVERNMENT healthcare solution. Conservatives don't look to government as the first solution to every problem.

Liberals, you have a laser-like focus on passing this healthcare bill (by any means necessary). While you are focusing on that goal however, you are losing sight of something. It's the thing that makes conservatives realize that government is not the answer to our problems.

Newsflash: Congressional Democrats have secretly been receiving the first new medical procedure under Obamacare, the Frontal Obamamy.  How else can you explain their desire to so blatantly ignore the will of the people of the United States?

Instead of being able to think for themselves and block Obama's Jedi mind control over them, something seems to have been inserted into their frontal lobes, thus boosting his mind control signal.

Medical researchers believe that the only cure for the Frontal Obamamy is bathing in blood. I guess we'll find out in November.  Some Democrats have opted out of this procedure for now, but may still get caught up in November's blood bath.

Opting instead for a stiff drink, one such Democrat was purported to have said: "Hey, I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal Obamamy!"

Ok, I know that in the back of their minds, they think that they will be loved by all of humanity if they ram this healthcare bill through, but isn't there anything front and center in their minds warning them that their political careers will be over if they do it?

Poll after poll shows that the majority of Americans do not want this monstrosity of a bill getting passed, but Nancy, Harry, and the President seem to be fine with ignoring that particular set of data.  What they can't ignore, however, is the fact that the 2010 mid-terms, and the 2012 national election are just over the horizon.  Throw in their tanking job approval ratings, and it is not looking good for the Dems.

But hey, if they want to ram it through (with 51 votes), then who are we to stop them from hanging themselves out to dry?

Seriously, how many times does the government have to succeed in running things into the ground before this country wakes up? The USPS is diving deeper into the red, financially, and what do they propose? Raising their prices, and cutting their services.

What would be done if the post office were being run by a private company? How would they get more business, more income? Possibly lowering prices, getting better at what they do, or creating more products and features that people want to buy?

Instead, their decision is to ration. That's right, RATION! I wonder what would happen if the healthcare system starts to lose money (if it were being run by the government - already the leader in denying services with Medicare and Medicaid.)
